Start Your Job Search Now Before The Summertime Slowdown
It is the tail end of spring, and for most people, summer is one of the best times of the year. Families go on vacation, taking a three-day weekend becomes commonplace and the work hustle slows down. There is an unspoken collective agreement that from June to the first couple of weeks in September, it’s socially acceptable to downshift and take it easy.

Crypto Lawsuit Against Tom Brady, Shaquille O’Neal, And The Golden State Warriors Gets The Cooperation Of A Former FTX Exec
The case against Tom Brady, Shaquille O’Neal, and other celebrities who promoted FTX has gained the cooperation of the failed crypto exchange’s ex-compliance chief Dan Friedberg, according to an amended complaint filed late Thursday. Friedberg provided evidence showing that important FTX promotional activity took place in Florida, the May 11 filing said – even though some of the defendants have claimed they shouldn’t be targets of the lawsuit because they don’t reside in the Sunshine State.
Bank Loan Officer Survey Shows That The Economy Will Slow Down, Leading To Layoffs
Banks are concerned over the current and near-term conditions, according to the Federal Reserve’s Senior Loan Officer Opinion Survey (SLOOS). The report on Monday shows requirements for receiving a loan have become more difficult for commercial and industrial loans. Families will also face challenges and higher costs for mortgages, home equity lines of credit and credit cards.
Would You Like To Change the Lives of People By Being A Mentor?
Think of all the mistakes you made early on in your career. They could have all been avoided if there was someone looking out for you. Now is your chance to give back and pay it forward.
HSBC And Scotia Hit With Fines Over WhatsApp Use
Amid the ongoing banking crisis in the United States, financial regulators continue scrutinizing major traditional finance companies like HSBC and Scotiabank. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has charged HSBC’s securities arm, HSBC Securities (HSI), and Scotiabank’s investment subsidiary, Scotia Capital, with penalties over recordkeeping violations.
How To Answer ‘Why Should We Hire You?’ In A Job Interview
You may not be aware of this, but hiring managers are generally not trained on how to interview candidates. It’s one of those quirks in the business world in which leadership believes managers can conduct in-depth interviews without any formal training by the company. Since supervisors are not well-versed in interviewing, it’s natural that they often default to innocuous, standard, basic questions.
How To Mentally Bounce Back From A Job Interview Rejection
If you are in the interview process, you will need to be prepared for a long slog. There will be times when a company strings you along, neglects to offer feedback and ghosts you. It is easy to accuse the companies of being cold and harsh. However, they are in a tight spot. It’s hard to hire when there is so much uncertainty. Businesses don’t want to onboard new personnel only to terminate their employment a month or two later. It’s logical for the companies to take a wait-and-see approach.
Coinbase’s SEC Complaint Draws Allies Depicting U.S. Regulator as Crypto Bully
Crypto insiders are tying themselves to Coinbase (COIN) as the company seeks to blow up the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) “come in and register” crusade aimed at the digital assets sector. In a series of “amicus” briefs filed this week, several crypto groups are joining the U.S.-based exchange as they collectively insist the SEC is deliberately wrecking the young industry with an insistence that there’s nothing distinct or special about crypto that warrants different treatment under securities laws.
Signs To Look Out For To Know If The Interview Went Well And You’re Likely To Receive A Job Offer
When interviewing for a new job, your adrenaline spikes, and you feel anxious and stressed. It’s hard to think clearly as your heart is beating faster. You have missed out on several good opportunities and have become afraid that you’ll still be interviewing three to six months later. It’s easy to lose your confidence, always coming in second or third place for a job. You hear stories of how others got employment within only a few months. After a while, you are not sure if it’s you or just a run of bad luck.
How Interviewers Can Make A Better Experience For Job Candidates
The interview process doesn’t have to be dreadful. Hiring managers and interviewers can improve the process by making job seekers feel appreciated and respected. They could start the interview by offering a sincere and friendly greeting, sharing their name and title and thanking them for taking the time out of their busy schedules.
